Inspired by the Mediterranean Sea of her childhood, the designer looked to the coral reefs located near the islands of the Tyrrhenian Sea for the silhouette of this iconic bangle in sterling silver. The irregular, thorny profile of the design is further perfected with the light incisions that create a textured surface.
Ippolita was founded by Florence born and raised artist Ippolita Rostagno. In 1999, after having identified a void for fine jewelry that could be worn every day, she created a line of her own. Her background in sculpture led her to create a signature language of organic silhouettes and sculpted forms. With shapes imprinted directly on her body, Rostagno has created a line of jewelry that has an unmistakable style and is known for its inherent wearability.
