The Diamond Cellar began as a humble repair shop in 1947, and is now one of the largest independent stores in the United States. We pride ourselves on our professional staff of goldsmiths, designers, graduate gemologists and diamond certificate holders who make the Diamond Cellar a world-class jeweler.
Diamond Cellar is a company dedicated, not only to preserving the natural environment, but also to improving the quality of our community. As a local company, we give back by supporting a variety of charities within the community that are dedicated to making a difference.
We accomplish our mission by providing group events we call adventures. Adventures welcome our sick kids, their siblings and parents to some exciting family-friendly places like Kings Island, the Columbus Zoo, The Cincinnati Reds, and many more! Each year, with the help of incredible partners like The Diamond Cellar, A Kid Again provides over 30 adventures, hosting nearly 15,000 hurting people.

Since its inception in 2001, Hat Day has raised over $23 million, and has evolved into premier social event that provides significant support for mission-based initiatives. Many Diamond Cellar employees and customers attend Hat Day, and are proud to support the creation and rejuvenation of community gardens, school gardens and beautification projects.

It was a collaboration that was meant to be. For three years the Diamond Cellar has teamed up with CCAD to empower the students of their Advanced Jewelry - Small Metals class to create unique ring designs. The winning designer receives $1,000 toward the production of their design, and a place at the Diamond Cellar’s Designers’ Gala alongside some of the jewelry industry’s most famous designers.
Diamond Cellar became the Official Jeweler of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and The Mid-Ohio School during the 2013 season.

The Diamond Cellar Classic in 2013 featured the return of GRAND-AM Road Racing’s top circuit, the Rolex Sports Car Series and was supported by the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, Playboy Mazda MX-5 Cup, Cooper Tires Prototype Lites and Ohio Valley Region SCCA IT-Spec Miata Shootout.

Over 98% of the metals used in our shop are recycled and re-refined. Even the rhodium plating solution we use is sent to a refiner for recycling and reuse, with earth friendly disposal. We also recycle all the worn-out batteries from our watch shop— over 5,000 a year! All of the chemicals we use are earth friendly, and our equipment utilizes some of the highest quality HEPA (High Efficiency Paritculate Air) filters available, to keep the air clean.
We have taken steps to reduce our carbon footprint by converting our light sources to earth-friendly, high efficiency solutions. We continue to look for opportunities to reduce our impact on the environment.
Each item that goes through our shop for repair or alteration gets three separate quality checks before it is handed back to the customer. First, the goldsmith who performed the work checks it for integrity, finish and overall repair quality. Next, the shop supervisor checks it again, and finally the salesperson handling the job checks it. Three checks assure you that your item was repaired the right way, and will last.
